Dr Vickie Pasterski has extensive specialist training in gender development across the lifespan. She earned a PhD in Behavioural Neuroendocrinology from City University, London, and spent a further two years as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Psychoendocrine Clinic at Columbia University Medical Center, New York, training in gender identity assessment and clinical case management.
Since 2006, Vickie has dedicated her clinical efforts to private practice in London and the West Midlands assisting individuals and families facing difficulties with gender identity and/or a gender-nonconforming presentation.
In addition, Vickie collaborates on international research projects and lectures on the Psychobiology of Gender Development. She is Affiliated Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, University of Cambridge, and consults on cases of differences of sex development (DSD) at the Policlinico Maternity Hospital in Milan, Italy. Her time is split between Milan, where she lives with her family and working in the UK.
